“The Art of the Horse” by Della Wood

“The Art of the Horse” by Della Wood
On Friday, August 17th, beginning at 6:00pm., The Venue will present an exhibit and reception for a new showing of “The Art of the Horse”, ceramic sculptures by Della Wood. Della was born in Indiana, but spent most of her formative years in Colorado. The daughter of an accomplished ceramic artist, Della became fascinated with horses as her subject matter. Her hand-built ceramic horse-themed sculptures are unusual, dynamic, abstract, and expressive. They capture and communicate the essential energy that is a horse.
Della has recently returned to Indiana, and now divides her time between Brown County and Hawaii. She will be at her reception at Venue, available to discuss her art. The Venue will provide refreshments for the occasion.
Our complete collection of Fine Art and Gifts will be on display for viewing and purchase. Free parking will be available in the lot on the corner of 4th and Grant.
This Show will run at The Venue until August 30th.
