South Central Indiana VA Stand Down
DATE: October 11, 2012
The South Central Indiana VA Stand Down Event is a one day event aimed toward helping struggling veterans in our communities. It will be hosted in Bloomington, Indiana on October 11, 2012 and will offer a variety of services for veterans to take advantage of. Services provided will include health screenings, food and clothing donations, flu shots, haircuts, counseling on topics such as medical assistance, employment, substance abuse, Social Security, etc. Veterans will have an opportunity to speak directly with community and government officials.

Veterans must have proof of veteran status for admittance. Acceptable forms are DD214 or VA issued identification card.

Where: American Legion, Post 18

Bloomington, IN 47404

When: October 11, 2012 from 10 AM to 2 PM

Lunch and transportation will be provided!
