“ Brian Gordy Watercolors” at The Venue
Beginning on First Friday, November 2nd, The Venue Fine Art & Gifts will host an Exhibit of the newest work of the Eminent Watercolor artist, Brian Gordy.
A Hoosier, Brian holds a degree in Art from Ball State, and has taught art in public schools, universities, and privately for over 25 years. He has been featured in the “Best of Watercolor”, Volume 3, Rockford Publishing, and is a signature member of The Transparent Watercolor Society of America, The Watercolor Society of Indiana, and The Red River Watercolor Society. He is also a member of The Brown County Art Guild. His paintings can be found in many of the most prestigious public and private Art Collection in America. His art and hand-gilded frames have earned him the designation “Indiana Artesian”.
Brian is well known for his watercolor landscapes of the Midwest, the North Woods of Michigan, and Canada. He has also gained recognition for his paintings of turtles in their natural Indiana Habitat. Watercolor is his medium of choice as “the medium that brings the art from me”. This exhibit demonstrates the range of his talent. His paintings are beautiful, serene, and have a luminescence that can only be achieved by a master of the medium of watercolor.
Our complete collection of Fine Art and Gifts will also be on display for viewing and purchase. Free parking will be available in the lot on the corner of 4th and Grant.
This show will run at The Venue until November 15th

TIME: 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
