Blue Studio Gallery’s Chip-Art fundraising campaign for Monroe County United Way features an interactive art installation at its downtown gallery location. With your help, thousands of colorful paint chips will be connected with brushed aluminum to create a beautiful modern screen, inspired by Mid-Century Modern Artists Russel and Mary Wright. The hand-cut color chips in this ongoing installation represents each dollar donated and is being assembled in Blue Studio’s big windows downtown! Proceeds for Blue’s United Way fundraiser will go directly to our own local Girls, Inc. Join Blue in creating this growing work of art by donating a dollar or more online at www.monroeunitedway.org/blueskies or visit Blue Studio Gallery downtown at 116.5 S. College Ave, upstairs#10. Open W-F 12-6, Sat 3-6.
Blue Studio Gallery’s Chip-Art campaign is part of the Kid Made Modern Class Series, and is sponsored by Bloomington Paint and Wallpaper, and Renwick Art Initiative.
