Event

Wayne Campbell (Oil, Acrylic & Pastel) of Shelbyville began painting at a very young age and won his first competition in 1969 at the Scott County Fair at the age of twelve. Considering himself mostly self-taught, he has taken a variety of instructional workshops from many great Indiana artists. His accomplishments include winning many Grand champion, first place and People's choice awards in a number of notable contests. Fast, loose plein air painting is his passion. Wayne became a member of the Brown County Art Guild in 2016. Wayne will host a live drawing from a model on Saturday, May 6 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Corrine Hull (Oil & Pastel) of Indianapolis is originally from Richmond, Indiana. She took her first painting class at the age of seven and has continued painting ever since. She enjoys the spontaneity and light found in plein air painting but also enjoys painting from life with her friends and colleagues in the evenings at Herron School of Art (Indianapolis, IN). Her artwork has been exhibited and received many awards throughout the Midwest. Corrine became a member of the Brown County Art Guild in 2011. Corrine will host a live painting demonstration on Saturday, May 13 from 2:00-4:00 p.m.

A reception for the artists will take place Saturday, May 13 from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
